220 Km high-speed rail linking three major airports in Thailand

- Creating a new 220 km High Speed Rail system in Thailand connecting Don Muang, Suvarnabhumi and U-Tapao airports whilst upgrading Airport Rail Link (ARL) commuter rail services to Bangkok city center.
- 15 stations with 2 maintenance depots are planned. The high-speed rail link will run along a 29 km stretch of the existing rail route and 191 km of new high-speed rail route, where 181 km will be elevated track, 8 km will be underground, and 2 km will be surface track.
- The project is expected to contribute 18 billion USD to the economy and will be responsible for creating 16,000 jobs and empowering over 100,000 businesses in adjacent sectors.

- The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has been tasked with renegotiating the contract under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model with consortium led by CP Group, with construction expected to begin in April 2025.
- Project design-build stage is expected to last 5 years.
