Applicants to the Catalyst programme need to meet the following five entry requirements:   

  • A scalable business model  
  • A go-to-market plan for international growth 
  • A run rate to cover +12 months (or proof that you are raising capital) 
  • A minimum of two full-time employees dedicated to global growth
  • A proven track record

How it works

 

Application

Your application is reviewed by our validation board. If validated, you will develop a tentative project plan.

Pitch to investment committee

Convince our Investment Committee. You get 10 minutes for your pitch followed by a five-minute Q&A session. Six companies will pitch and three get selected, giving you a 50 per cent chance of success.

Execute plan

Put your market entry plan into action together with the Business Sweden team.

Meet the Catalyst Committee

Our jury consists of angel investors, innovation executives, representatives from venture capital firms and start-up ambassadors. With proven experience from start-up scenes worldwide – from San Francisco to Tokyo – they offer an invaluable network of contacts.
