Why Singapore?

Singapore has established a Land Transport Master Plan (LTMP) 2040 that describes the future of land transport for Singapore: 1) a transport network that is convenient, well-connected and fast; 2) a transport ecosystem characterised by gracious behaviour and inclusive infrastructure; and 3) a transport environment that supports healthy lives and enables safer journeys.

With this, Singapore will use various strategies and unite various partners across the globe to reach this goal. One of which includes a renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on transport cooperation signed between the Swedish Transport Administration and the Land Transportation Authority of Singapore. With this, the time is now for Swedish companies to capitalise on this initiative to drive new business and collaboration in Singapore.

Agenda

Preparations and coaching (Virtual)

  • Go through a virtual tailor-made preparation program to build competence in internationalization-capabilities. A market briefing session, webinar by Singaporean government agencies and 1-to-1-workshop with Business Sweden to lay the groundwork for the delegation.

Orientation and ecosystem overview (Physical – in Singapore)

  • On the first day, a comprehensive orientation session will be organised, providing an overview of the local business environment, innovation ecosystem, and industry trends. This will help familiarize the companies with the market landscape and prepare you for the upcoming tailored meetings.

Tailored business meetings (Physical – in Singapore)

  • Each company will get to select from a list of key ecosystem players, and participate in personalized, one-on-one meetings arranged based on their unique business needs and goals. These meetings will provide you valuable insights, foster meaningful connections, and facilitate in-depth discussions on potential collaborations

Post delegation support (Virtual)

  • Post-delegation, we will facilitate continued engagement by organizing dedicated follow-up workshops with your company and partners identified in Singapore, and discuss a forward-looking plan to build concrete partnerships
