High Potential Opportunities (HPO) is a demand-driven promotional programme that helps Swedish companies win business deals and large projects all over the world. The network Team Sweden can play a crucial role in generating new business through coordinated public support efforts.
Business Sweden helps Swedish companies to identify opportunities and projects of high interest. To increase the chances to close this type of business deals, we have a long-term strategy with focused efforts in place. We take the lead for the most promising opportunities and highlight the entire Swedish offering, including a strategic approach to various stages of the transaction, for example financing or project preparation.
Participating companies benefit from the expertise and experience of our global business developers, who map and evaluate the most important export transactions worldwide. This happens in cooperation with Swedish companies, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Team Sweden players such as The Swedish Export Credit Agency (EKN) and The Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK).

Business Sweden also cooperates with the EKN and SEK to strengthen the relationship with international partners. This collaboration also has a positive effect on the Swedish offering. We focus especially on global EPC contractors (construction, engineering and systems integrator companies) and international commercial banks. With these banks we organise activities both in Sweden and in the selected markets.
