The history of Candeco goes back to 1992 when a happy group of entrepreneurs decided to build an ingredient company based on creativity.

Candeco develops sugar based inclusions and decorations for the confectionery, ice cream and pastry industry (B2B). Most of our products are tailor made and we love to bring inspiration and ideas to help our customers to create new experiences for the consumer. The product range includes sugar strands & flakes, fudge & soft chips, hard boiled caramel chips in different shapes and sizes, sugar pearls and chocolate dragees.

Our home market is Scandinavia but our products can be found in many countries all over the world, a lot thanks to our agents in UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland and Australia.

Our factory and office is placed in Malmö, Sweden and since 2005 Candeco is part of Idun Industri A/S and Orkla Food Ingredients. We are certified according to BRC Global Food Safety Standard and the SMETA protocol for ethical and sustainable responsibility. All chocolate is UTZ certified and we hold a certification for production of organic inclusions and decorations. Our products can be Kosher or Halal certified upon request.
